"A Tribute to Former County Commissioner Pat Glass"
Manatee County Rural Health Services, Inc. will host the Second Annual FHCCM Foundation Dinner, honoring Former Manatee County Commissioner Pat Glass.
Mrs. Glass will be presented with the Senator Edgar H. Price Jr. Lifetime Achievement Award. She is a worthy recipient of this prestigious award.
For over 25 years, Former County Commissioner Glass has had a lifetime track record of exceptional commitment and generosity; she has shown outstanding dedication and selflessness to the people of Manatee County. Additionally, she has been a leader and advocate through charitable and civic work with multiple civic, educational, and community based organizations. Pat Glass has provided strong leadership in public and private organizations that have impacted the growth and prosperity of Manatee County.
The dinner is our major fundraiser for the Family Health Care Center of Manatee Foundation (FHCCM). FHCCM is an independent philanthropic organization committed to supporting Manatee County Rural Health Services (MCRHS) in its efforts to promote innovations in care and assist in broadening access to health care to those individuals in our community who are uninsured, underinsured and medically underserved.

"A Tribute to Senator Edgar H. Price Jr."
The Family Healthcare Centers of Manatee thanks you for celebrating with us as we honored and gave tribute to Senator Edgar H. Price, Jr.
for his years of service to the State of Florida and the residents of Manatee County.
Senator Price, is credited with providing strong leadership in public and
private organizations that impacted the growth and prosperity of
Florida’s agricultural economy. Edgar H. Price Jr. was executive vice
president of Tropicana Products and a State Senator.
This former World War II pilot became a Senator in 1958 and served
until 1966. He was chairman of the Florida Citrus Commission from
1971 to 1973 and was inducted into the Florida Agricultural Hall of
Fame in 1992. Price was also an agricultural adviser to
Governor Rubin Askew.
He has served on many boards of nonprofit organizations, including the
Palmetto Youth Center, Rubonia Day Care Center and the United Way.
In 2006, Manatee Rural Health Services named its new center in Parrish
the Edgar H. Price Jr. Children & Family Health Care Center.
